A Message From The Founder

I am humbled to connect with you through this heartfelt message, a testament to the incredible journey that has shaped me, and the vibrant community that has emerged from it. Life's twists and turns often lead us to places we never thought we'd tread. In 2017, I faced the storm of a heartbreak and the unexpected loss of a job. Yet, within those trials, a transformative journey of self-discovery, renewal, and the realization of my own power began.

The darkness of those times served as a canvas for God to paint my growth story. Grief became a guide to surrender, leading me through the intricate corridors of my own soul and God's love for me. It was through this exploration that God shed light on my codependencies, hardened heart, and lack of confidence; in God and myself. I began to create, I learned how to trust God more, and embrace my femininity. In the process, the Proverbs 31 woman emerged as a beacon of strength, lighting the path to my own empowerment.

From these experiences, a vision emerged: Powder Room 31[PR31]. It began with a collection of t-shirts adorned with the wisdom of God's word and evolved into a thriving virtual haven for black and brown women . We've hosted virtual conferences that inspire and uplift, and our seasonal book club creates a space for deep connections. PR31 offers a sanctuary where women can explore the love of Christ openly and nurture their holistic growth through community.
